'DSE closes with fall

Dhaka, July 27— Following seesaw movement in the opening hours, trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has witnessed a fall.
Although the turnover crossed the Tk 17 billion benchmark on Wednesday, prices of over half of the traded shares declined.
Opening on an uptrend, the DSE general index, however, began to fall after 15 minutes.
The index shed around 55 points and stood at around 6586 points, until 1pm.
Of the issues traded until then, 82 gained, 159 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
The index, however, started to gain once again and stood at 6607.
14 points around 1:34pm.
At the end of the day, the index shed 14.
